The objective was to create a modern, functional and accessible facility. The new facility was inaugurated on 20 January 2018.
For this project, Bengt Dahlgren had the role of environmental coordinator from the initial stage to the finished project. We formulated environmental objectives and requirements for the project and monitored these through the design and production stages. We also managed and coordinated the environmental certification work with the objective of achieving Miljöbyggnad Gold. We carried out environmental checks during production and monitored the contractor’s environmental documentation and applied for environmental certification.
Bengt Dahlgren also helped the Property Office to seek a contribution from Klimatmiljarden, the central environmental promotion agency, for the environmental and energy measures taken during the project, which was also granted (approx. SEK 8 million). We also had the role of energy coordinator and made all the energy and climate calculations for the project.
Bengt Dahlgren also prepared the system documentation, tender documentation and construction documentation for the control and monitoring facility. We also had the role of installation coordinator for control and monitoring during production. In addition, we also carried out leak detection tests, air tightness tests, thermographic surveys and smoke tests in cooperation with Fuktbyrån (damp prevention agency in Stockholm).
